We miss you.  Our ache is unimaginable.  We’ve never known greater sorrow.   But this we know… You are with Jesus, more alive than you’ve ever been (2 Cor. 5:1-10).

We believe that because of God’s great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope, and because of this truth we will see you again one day (1 Peter 1:3-9).  We know that God has used and continues to use your life story and now death for His Glory (Psalm 116:15).  We believe that He holds us and will never leave us (Psalm 46:1-5).  We believe that Jesus is enough for today (Heb. 13:8).  We believe that perfect love casts out all fear.  Jesus is our perfect love and therefore we do not have to be afraid (1 John 4:18).

We believe that God is continuing to usher in “new” as long as we keep our eyes fixed on Him.  We believe His mercies are new every morning and never come to an end.  (Lam. 3:22-23)

So we do not lose heart.  Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.  For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.  For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.  2 Cor. 4:16-18
